“Completely by chance, I found Lesley from Local Line. We met at Easter in Dublin and she has been nothing but amazingly helpful from the start. She is also very nice and approachable. It is not a cheap service but for us it was worth every penny. My husband works very long hours in a very pressured job and I work from home. Travelling to Dublin to visit many houses was not doable and adding all the costs that it would have been a relocating agent was effectively cheaper.
We already had a school for our children but she can definitively help with that too. For us Lesley – Found a few houses, all meeting our requirements but was able to snap up a period property which is in our preferred location so we can walk/cycle to school; Lesley, organised the inventory of the house and the key exchange.
Lesley also advised on health insurance – which is very different than in the UK, recommend a few camps/clubs and answered all the questions I had regarding the move and made it generally less stressful for me.
